What is Phiny?
Phiny is an AI-powered career preparation platform for students in India. You can practise mock interviews with an AI interviewer, check and improve your resume, and read free company-wise placement guides and interview questions.
Is Phiny free?
Text mock interviews are free and unlimited — they never use credits. Voice interviews, skill-training plans and some AI resume enhancements use credits, or come with Placement Pro, a paid in-app subscription. New accounts get free voice interviews to start, and the app always shows the cost first. Every guide and tool on this site is free without a login.
What is the difference between the text and voice mock interview?
In a text interview the AI interviewer asks by chat and you type your answers at your own pace — it works on a phone. In a voice interview you answer out loud, which trains delivery under pressure; it needs a microphone, camera and screen share, so a laptop or desktop works best.
Can I practise for TCS NQT, Infosys or Accenture interviews?
Yes. Paste the job description from the drive notice or careers page and the interview follows it. The company guides on this site explain each recruiter's test and interview rounds.
Is the resume ATS checker private?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser — the resume text you paste is not uploaded or stored.
I am not from CSE. Is Phiny useful for me?
Yes. The HR and behavioural rounds are the same for every branch, and because you type the role yourself — for example a graduate engineer trainee role in mechanical or electrical — the questions follow that role.
