Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Phiny’s website and app. Please read them — using Phiny means you accept them.

“Phiny”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Global Apps Inc, the operator of phiny.ai and app.phiny.ai.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use Phiny. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. What Phiny provides

Phiny offers AI-powered career preparation — mock interviews, resume tools, skill analysis and free preparation guides. Guidance, feedback, salary figures and company information are provided for practice and information only. Phiny does not guarantee any job, offer, placement, interview result or admission. Figures in our guides are indicative; always confirm against official sources.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to break or overload it, scraping it, reselling it, uploading unlawful or infringing content, impersonating others, or using it to cheat in a real, proctored assessment or examination. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and paid plans

Text mock interviews are free and unlimited. Some features (including voice interviews beyond the free daily allowance) are part of Placement Pro, a paid subscription. Current features and inclusions are described in the app.

5. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal

• Placement Pro is offered on monthly, 6-month and 12-month plans. All plans are recurring and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Payments are collected through our payment processor (Razorpay), including via a UPI Autopay mandate you authorise once. The mandate ceiling is set to your plan price; the first payment is collected when you subscribe, and each renewal is charged at the same price for your plan.
• By subscribing you authorise these recurring charges. You can cancel at any time — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Prices are shown in the app and may change for future billing periods with notice; a price change never applies to a mandate you have already authorised without your consent.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the resumes and content you upload. You grant Phiny the licence needed to process that content to provide the service (for example, to parse a resume or generate interview feedback). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

7. Intellectual property

Phiny, its software, guides and content (other than your own uploaded content) are owned by Phiny and protected by law. You may use them only as permitted by these terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. AI-generated feedback and information may contain errors and should not be treated as professional, legal, financial or career advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phiny will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, offers or earnings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Phiny and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree that the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the service.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
